Widget-net is made by Obelisk Teknoloji. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and what control you have over it. If anything here is unclear, write to info@obeliskteknoloji.com.
You can start using Widget-net without giving us an email address or a password — the app signs you in anonymously. If you choose Sign in with Google, we receive the account identifier Google gives us so your data follows you to a new device.
We store the display name you type, your profile photo if you add one, and a permanent 6-character code that other people use to connect with you.
Content you create inside a connection — chat messages, photos, paintings, pinned notes and emoji, moods, planned dates, remembered dates, game answers, and Miss You taps — is stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage) so it can reach the people in that connection and appear in your widgets.
This content is visible to the members of that connection. It is not public, and we do not sell it, rent it, or use it to build advertising profiles.
To draw your widgets without opening the app, Widget-net keeps a small copy of the latest values — counts, moods, the most recent shared photo, your days together — in a shared container on your own device, and refreshes it periodically over HTTPS. That copy stays on your device.
If you allow notifications, we store a device token so we can tell you when your person sends something. You can turn notifications off at any time in iOS Settings.
We use Firebase Crashlytics to receive crash reports and Firebase Analytics to understand which features people use. These record device and usage information, not the contents of your messages, photos, or moods.
Widget-net includes the Meta (Facebook) SDK so we can tell which advertising campaigns brought people to the app. On first launch iOS asks whether you allow tracking across other companies' apps and websites. If you decline, no advertising identifier is shared. As the prompt says: this lets us see which ads brought people here, so we can keep Widget-net free to try.
Widget-net Premium is billed through the App Store. Purchases are processed by Apple and managed for us by RevenueCat, which receives your subscription status and an anonymous identifier. We never see your payment details.
We keep your content while your account exists. Delete a connection and its content is removed. You can delete your account anytime in the app under Settings → Safety → Delete account; we remove your profile and the content tied to it. Content the other person also holds inside a shared connection may remain visible to them.
Widget-net is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date above.
